To know me personally is to know that I LOVE Shelties. The Sheltie is a herding dog, originally bred in the Shetland Islands for herding sheep. Their instinct is to circle the herd, to the degree that even when they don't have sheep to herd ... they just keep on circling.
It only made sense to me to base my book review rating scale on circles. A book can get 1-5 circles, and there's a fun video of a real Sheltie who gets in on the act for each rating. I hope the 5-circle books don't end up making you too dizzy.
